Please Recommend Home Security System
Looking to get a home security system. Can anyone recommend the company that you use? Are there any companies that do free installation with a service contract?

we have an appointment for slomins this weekend. they have a free basic package but i am sure it will add up with extras.

I have Slomins and the complete install cost me 907
I have
front door
Keypad
Back sliding door + Shatter
garage door
Side door
basement windows
kitchen windows
2 motion sensors
and an additional keypad upstairs.
Oh and I pay $26 a month.

We're very happy with VMS Security in Yaphank - www.seevms.com Craig is the owner. If you decide to contact them please let me know, they offer referal bonuses in the way of free month's service. They have a basic package for installation that you can add onto. Monthly monitoring is about $25. Free installation deals are usually very basic (one keypad, a couple of doors) and the monitoring is usually tied to a contract and is often a higher monthly rate.
