Please tell me there is something to get the dog smell out of my house!!!!
We have no carpet in our living room. Just an area rug which we literally vacuum on a daily basis. Other than that, it's all hardwood! I febreeze the couches and the dogs are not allowed on the couches. Bathing them right now is not an option. They are too big to go in the tub and it's too cold outside to use the hose. Plus, one of them has bad back legs and I would be afraid of him hurting his legs from freaking out if i even tried to put him in the tub. I clean on a daily basis and do a deep cleaning once a week. Vacuum, steam mop, sanitize and disinfect! Is there anything else i can do or use to get the dog smell out of my house? My house is not dirty but i feel it makes my house "feel" dirty just from the smell . HELP!!!!!!

Chances are it is the dogs that smell and not the house if you are cleaning and fabreezing the place. Why not take them to the groomers

Re: Please tell me there is something to get the dog smell out of my house!!!!
My 1 big guy is 70lbs and both of his back legs are bad. He's had 2 surgeries and his legs are still weak plus a weak ankle. He also freaks out REALLY easily. I got him as an abused puppy and he's still very skiddish around people he doesn't know. Bringing him to a groomer would freak him out too much and he gets really clumsy when he freaks out and his legs give out. I don't want to take the chance of him getting hurt worse than he already is Maybe there is a dry shampoo that works really well?

I don't have a dog, but when my cat was really old and couldn't clean herself, I used something like baby wipes to clean her. I don't remember the brand, but I got it at a pet shop. I didn't want to stress her with a bath, and she couldn't groom herself at that point.
It's worth a try, but make sure whatever you get is non-toxic.
