Potty Training - when do you switch to pull ups?
DS poops on the potty 85-90% of the time. I can't remember the last time I changed a poop diaper.
However, he does not pee pee on the potty. For whatever reason, he just is not able to tell us when he has to go pee pee and even though I put him on the toilet every morning when he wakes up and every night before his bath, he does not pee. He will pee once I put his diaper on or in the bath tub.
Should I be switching him to pull-ups? what is the main difference between pull-ups and a diaper?
Thanks!

Re: Potty Training - when do you switch to pull ups?
This was my DS, trained for poop months before pee--so not the norm, but totally okay! We didn't do pullups, I think they are essentially like diapers. The main difference being you can step into a pullup vs lay down for a diaper. We did use them at night time though. We went straight to underwear, had a ton of accidents but eventually figured out how to get to the potty to pee. Actually telling me took the longest, at first he just danced around doing his little pee pee dance, but eventually he started telling me. Anyways, HTH, every kid is different, but that's what worked for us.
