Potty Training question...BTDT Moms/Dads

My dd hates diapers!! shell be 22 months in a couple of days. Im thinking of just buying undies for her this weekend and just taking away the diaper and see what happens. Im sure tons of accidents at least the first couple of days. We do a mommy and me one day during week, do you think it will be too confusing for her if I put a pull up or diaper on her for that one class?

Anyone just got diaperfree all at once? If so how long did it take to be accident free and did you do any prepping before doing this? If so what kind of prepping.

I defiantly think shes ready.. just wish she told me she had to go potty before it happened in diaper, then I would know for sure she was ready.

I went diaperfree on a monday about 2 months ago or so...never looked back....I kept her in diapers overnight for 2-3 weeks and then that was it

when we were going out, I would put a diaper under her in the car seat in case she had an accident....good luck

Has she started using the potty yet? B/f you take away the diapers I would make sure she is comfortable going on the potty to use the bathroom (for both pee and poop). If she is than I say go for it! DS is 22 months and we just started to potty train this week...

We tried diaper-free for four days when I thought DD was ready. Didn't work. She actually stopped going on the potty and only had accidents. Now, many months later, if she is naked she will go on the potty every single time. If she has underwear (or pull-ups) on, she goes in her pants. I can't win!
