Pre-Made Formula ??
i still have some of the hospital tiny bottles (the 2 ounce) thingies....of pre-made formula. We're putting them in REGULAR bottles now - but my question is - once i OPEN that tiny bottle - how long do i have before she has to finish it?
for some reason - i had 1 hour in my head - is that right? One hour from the moment we open the bottle??

One hr and NEVER reuse it. So if she doesn't finish, it goes in the garbage.

Re: Pre-Made Formula ??
is that just for the little bottles?
Bc once I make the formula/water bottles, I thought those were good for 2 hrs. 10 months in that is what I have been doing!

it doesn't say it on the bottle (they were the samples from the hospital - not like 'official' bottles that we bought - ya know?)
I've been going with an hour - so i guess that's good. I was curious if i put it in the fridge it would change the time limit thing...

If you open them up and put them in the fridge without her using it they should be good for atleast a day in the fridge, thats what the ready made fornula containers say

for powdered formula you can refridge upto 24 hours once you take it out to use it you have 2 hours on it til you chuck it.. but once baby starts eating then its 1 hour left to chuck it
