i think the networks are improperly calling it a landslide. historically, a "landslide" has been based on the popular vote totals, and usually has been more than 10 percentage points. as of now (with some tallies still outstanding) the point spread was 6%.

So while the EC count seems huge, it really is not. I think we are all just used to having a closer EC count due to the past two presidential elections.

agreed.

I gues the point of my post was that I am happy he won no matter what method we would have used to vote. I know this was something that bother me a great deal back in 2000.
