Progesterone low after IUI
Ok..so I got a call from the nurse after my 7 days post IUI bloodwork. She told me my progesterone level was too low and I have to take progesterone. I got her to tell me that it was 5.7 What should it be?? I was on Clomid. I am assuming that if it is low I am not preggo?? Don't really know what this all means! Thanks!!!

That's really pretty low. They usually like it up around at least 12. It doesn't necessarily mean you're not pregnant, I had low progesterone with my DD and I was on vaginal suppositories until I was 12 weeks along. Even with the progesterone supplements my levels hovered around 12-13. My DD was born perfectly healthy. Lots of luck!!!!!

are they going to start you on progesterone suppositories? if not for this cycle then definitely for next cycle... i took them 2 days after my IUI...

Yes...the nurse said I am going to need progesterone suppositories. I am hoping it goes up! Thank you.

My level is usually around a 9 without supplements which my doc said is borderline. When on the supplements I am at a 15.
