PSA: Have your car seats/installation checked...we were in an accident
The first responders told us that had the car seats not been secured so well, the kids would have flown either right into the bench seat at face/eye level, or they would have launched over it.  DH checks them every couple of months to make sure the braces and tethers have not loosened or shifted.
Please, please, please, even if your car seats have been in your car for a while, have them checked.
