Question about blood work
My doctor wants to send me for blood work and see me after he gets the results before he will send me for an HSG (we have been TTC for about 6 months). He didn't tell me what he will be testing for. Im assuming my thyroid and testosterone but not sure what else. Also what kinds of things/tests can he do in his office (he is a regular ob/gyn)? Thanks

Is there a specific CD that he wants you to go on? He can test your estrogen and progesterone levels on CD3 to make sure they're normal... and then again on CD21 to see if you've ovulated...

Usually on CD 3, they'd test for FSH, LH, E2 (estradiol), prolactin, P4 (progesterone), TSH, testosterone, and sometimes AMH levels.
