Question for moms who have DC with Milk Protein Allergies
DD is 6 months and I gave her 3 gerber baby spoons of YoBaby this afternoon at lunchtime. I know I'm supposed to wait until she's a year old, but I know some people who DC did well with the yogurt.
Now tonight for the first time she's screaming. Do you think the milk is hurting her? I really didn't think that little would hurt her...I feel really really really bad

we deal with protein allergies. He use to be super gassy, needed to be held all the time and had bad breakouts on his face and chest.
I hope she is just irritable.

I agree to wait a week and see. It could be coincidence. Also, check for a diaper rash in the morning.

Re: Question for moms who have DC with Milk Protein Allergies
OK so she was awful last night. Screamed where I had to take her out of the crib and rock her (I never rock her!!). She did pass some gas. Other times she was whining and whimpering - like she was softly crying in her sleep. Poor baby.
She woke up in the most fabulous mood I've ever seen her in. She does have a pretty bad rash around her lips, none on her tush...
Would you try it again in a week? or give it more time.

ditto! you can always give her soy yogurt and cheeses. I don't like to mess around with Ava's milk allergy, I have a fear of an anaphylactic reaction.

Thanks ladies, and good to know about the rash around the mouth. I seriously thought it was from teething. I'm an idiot
I started giving her Gerber Banana's and Strawberries and she got a little rash around her mouth too.
I guess this kid is allergic to milk and berries
