Question regards to stomach illness in toddler...help anyone?
My whole family had a really horrible stomach virus this weekend. My dh and I and our two older girls (7 & 4) had it Friday till about Sunday night. My ds (2 1/2) still has a bout with dirahea. I called my ped and he said to just ride it out. With everyone's experience, what's the longest that anyone's dc's has had it? Just wondering what I can expect. Thanks!

My kids have had it anywhere from 7-10 days. I hope she feels better!

DS just had that virus. He had diarrhea for 10 days.
Keep DC hydrated. And my doctor said to give him yogurt because of the asodopholus(sp). You can also purchase it and sprinkle it on the food as well.
Hope he gets better soon.

Wow....10 days!!!! Guess I better go stock up on diapers...

Thanks so much for the quick responses!
I usually use pampers, but since he was going through them and fast. I purchased the cheapest diapers I could find, that still worked. And I lathered aquaphor on his butt to prevent diaper rash.
