Ok, so another poster said that she contacted Customer Service and they forgot to put a 2 in front of the $242.99 for the car seat and all orders will be cancelled.
How do we fight this? Where do we begin if we all recieve this e-mail stating so???

you can't. There website states:

Quite honestly, it was a mistake and I am not sure there is much that can be done

But theres gotta be power in numbers! They have no clue that we all talk and if we ban together we might be able to fight it!! I doubt they will want tons of BBB complaints

Well that would be "TWO" mistakes. Not just one. They had one for $59.99 and one for $42.99. How many mistakes are you allowed without calling it false advertising.
I will file a former complaint with the BBB and Attorney General.

I completely and totally agree with you ladies... I don't care quite honestly if they forgot to put a 2 in front of the remaining numbers. Their mistake... not ours!
I think that if we all use our voices, then together we will have the strength to fight this!
If they cancel my order, then I will also file complaints w/the BBB and AG.

You can't. Catalog/e-commerce laws differ from buying at a bricks & morter location. Target hasn't taken the money from your credit card yet (they legally can only charge you upon shipment) so they can still notify you that it was an error.
Something similar happened 3 or 4 years ago (I was either preggo with Sarah or just had her) and a FP swing that was being offered really cheap on some website and they said it was a mistake and didn't have to honor it. I'd seen it posted on here as well as a national board I'm on and people tried to go through their atty general's office but they were within their rights to cancel the orders prior to charging the card.

I think if you fight it with the BBB, they will give it to you at the advertised price. Their mistake, too bad, ship the seats !!!!

I think because they are a large retail store, they should honor any prices, whether be error or not. It isn't my responsibility to ensure their pricing is accurate - that is their responsibility. I bought something that was in stock at the advertised price and it's their obligation to fulfill it.

It will all depend on when the correct person within the company had notice of the mistake relative to the time of the shipments

I heard on ff that if your cc was charged you will get the seats at the low price. But if your cc wasn't charged then you will get the email stating it was a mistake and you can order at the full price.
