real estate license

hi, if anyone can help me...I passed the RE test almost 5 years ago, but never pursued it (I was 22). Just wondering if I have to retake the test or is my license still good since I never was active with a broker, so my license was never obtained.

Any help would be appreciated, before I even look into taking the test again.

Re: real estate license

They changed the requirements for the education hours as of July 2008. I am not sure if you could take the remaining classes or if you would have to do it over again.

Re: real estate license

I'm pretty sure you'll have to re-take the course.

You have to retake the exam and you will need to take the suppliment 39 hour course to complete the new required 75 hour course requirement. This is what I do 5 days a week I know all the ins and outs of real estate licensing with the state and this comes up alot. Once you take the extra course and the exam then you will be eligable to associate wtih a broker. You can now apply for your license online which is only a 24 hour process once you are approved by the broker. This is so much faster then sending in the paperwork which is now taking 6-8 weeks. hope this helps any questions just let me know.
