I just traded in my 08 Prius for a brand new one. It gets 52MPG city, and they really improved the style of the interior. Its a great car and it fits four adults comfortably.

I turned in my 09 Acura TSX. It's was a really nice car, fully loaded, lots of extras, and AWESOME on gas. I kinda miss it.

I got a 2011 Hyundai Sonata and I love it. It's nice looking and I get great gas mileage.
Wish I would have known they were coming out with a hybrid because I would have waited for that!

If he is looking for inexpensive then I would recommend the 2011 Hyundai ELantra - They redesigned it and it looks like a baby sonata. Really nice

Our Saab is 10 years old and gets ~30 mpg and it's a turbo. I'm sure 10 years later and non turbo models are better.
