International Harvester CXT
70 gallon gas tank
The International CXT or Commercial Extreme Truck is a very large pickup truck. Introduced in September 2004, the CXT is 21 ft (6.4 m) long with a 9 ft (2.7 m) tall cab. It is the largest production pickup truck on the market, its curb weight of 14,500 lb (6,600 kg) is around twice the weight of a Hummer H1.[4][3] Its GVWR is 25,999 lb (11,793 kg)[5]
The CXT is built on an International 7300 chassis and is equipped with the DT 466 diesel engine and is capable of towing up to 20 tons while its air-ride cab and individual bucket seats offer a smooth ride for the driver and 4 adult passengers. The CXT's interior includes luxury options such as leather, DVD, and satellite radio.[3] Mechanical features include air brakes, an Allison 2500HD automatic transmission, and 4 wheel drive. The CXT uses a Meritor MTC 4208 two-speed transfer case. The CXT gets 8-10 miles per gallon, and has a 70 gallon tank.[3] The CXT is priced from $93,000 to $115,000.[3]

2010 Buick Enclave
Has 3 rows, last row is pretty roomy. Can be configured as a 7 seater or 8 seater (bench middle row) So many other good things about the car.
I haven't come across any cons yet, I love my Enclave.

Will look into it although, Deb, I was certain that you would recommend a minivan
As for the second question, not yet, at least not that I know of...soon, very soon
My lease is almost up...looking to do an early lease termination!

Re: Recommend your SUV or crossover...no mini vans please
I have the MDX and I fit 3 car seats into it comfortably. its a great car. I am little (4 foot 11) so I need the running boards to climb in and out of. I plan to remove them if I grow some more.

I have the 09 Enclave and its hands down the best car I have ever driven (and now own). I've been in many, many cars/trucks because of DH's line of work and this one is the nicest, most comfortable, stylish , etc.

Re: Recommend your SUV or crossover...no mini vans please
There is no question that the Audi Q5 is one of the safest mini SUV's on the road.
My hisband has an A4 with ne of the highest crash ratings.
My next car WILL be the Q5 hand's down.
And the german cars are better made. They have to make them to a different European standard, and they just carry that over to the USA.
Audi Q5. nuf said.

I have been doing a lot of research into the Honda Pilot. One of my friends has one and my SIL has one and they both love it and I have asked others about it too and no one has any complaints. I think that will me our next purchase.

Re: Recommend your SUV or crossover...no mini vans please
There are a million nice SUV's. I think no matter what you go with (Acura, Infiniti, Nissan, Honda, whatever) you are going to be happy.
However, and this has to be said, my Mom a few years ago was looking at SUV's. I talked her into test driving the Mercedes ML350 and, hands down, it is unlike anything I've ever seen, driven, rode in, etc. It was UNBELIEVABLE. And the safety - just amazing. What a beautiful car. If your budget allows it, which you stated it does, that would be the one.
I would get it in a heartbeat.
Just DRIVE it and you'll see.

I have the 2010 Chevy Equinox and I love it. The Traverse is the larger version - 3rd row seating.
