rolling to belly while sleeping - how will I SLEEP??
DD's been rolling a lot lately (awake). I just went in to check on DD, and there she was rolled to her belly, face plant in the mattress. How will I ever sleep without worrying about her and if she's breathing?
I feel like she wont be able to roll to her back. This time, she didnt even make any noise. Will she be ok all night long doing this? I thought she would cry, and I would turn her over, but she didnt make a sound... I am so nervous of her suffocating.

How's her neck control? Usually the dr.'s will tell you that once they start rolling over themselves that you can leave them like that to sleep. Unless there was some concern with her lack of neck control I would say she should be fine.

Re: rolling to belly while sleeping - how will I SLEEP??
This was us last month. I slept on his floor. Try to ( I wasn't successful) turn her head. After a while he wasn't doing a face plant right into the mattress. If her neck control is good, there shouldn't be anything to worry about. He now switches side to side.
What's funny is he'll scream when he naps and rolls over, that's exclusive for side sleeping.

yes, I was going to ask the same as PP - how's her neck control? Honestly, DD had excellent neck control by 2 months old and that's when she began sleeping on her belly (and sleeping completely through the night). She's 4 months now and will cry when she mistakenly rolls onto her back. Your DD should be fine as long as she has the strength in her neck to turn her head (even if she doesn't have the strength to roll back onto her back yet)

I was so nervous when my twins started doing that and like yours, they would sleep face down into the mattress! For a week or so I got no sleep and would sneak into their room and turn theirs heads to the side only to have them turn right back the moment I left the room. Ugh. Anyways, just like everyone said if your DD has decent neck control then I wouldn't worry. I know it's easier said then done. HTH
