Don, I am so sorry for everything you had to endure today - especially your mother. I will hope and pray that it is just a really bad reaction to some medication she was taking and that she is no longer hurting and well on her way to recovery.

Just wanted to add that I had the same thing happen with my dad. I was at the scene and it was the worst feeling of my life. i can totally relate to that horrible feeling. Its unexplainable! I know you dont want hugs but I am sorry that happened to you!

Oh Don, I can't even imagine how scary that was for you and your family.
Hopefully the doctors will know soon what happen and that is wasn't something serious.
Please let me know if there is anything we can do

What a terrrible, frightening thing to experience. And I agree, it does make you treasure things more.

Anyway, I hope they find out soon what the deal is and they can fix it! I've seen enough people in your Mom's situation to know how that feels. I'm glad she's getting the care she needs now.

Why did you post this if you don't want hugs or prayers...was it just a PSA? I agree though life is too short, and like someone else said, we make plans and God laughs..
Don, I am truly sorry to hear about your mom, I honestly am but I don't think you needed to start your post like that....I will chalk it up to stress....take care <nonhug> Hope your mom gets better soon.

I completely agree with what Stefanie said.
Don, what a frightening thing to have to go through. I truly hope it was just a bad reaction to the meds and nothing more serious. I wish her a speedy and complete recovery.

Im sorry to hear you guys had to go through that. I'm glad your Mom is doing better. The thought of losing a parent scares the hell out of me. I was just faced with this recently myself. hang in there.
On another note, I dont know why you said anything about "karma" and "you got yours'. I dont think people really would think that way.

I think you're starting to age & repeat yourself. I don't know anyone that would be happy reading that your family had a scare.
I hope it's the medication & that they resolve it quickly. You said you didn't want hugs, FMs or prayers, so I'm sending you & your family my very best wishes for only the best results (and quick test results for Boosh as well). Supressing hug icon....ah crap. You didn't say anything about those.
