Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread

don't shoot me..

But I hoped I gained a little more weight in the past week.

I went last Monday and I had gained a half pound in a total 14 and a half weeks of pregnancy.

I'm not a small gal. Always sort of hovered around 150 but to gain nothing??

Then again.. I am soooooo tired from not getting a good night's sleep that even though I am hungry.. I can't seem to get myself to want to eat or if there is food ... to want to finish it.

Ugh

Need sleep.

and darn it.. I wanna know.. is it a He or a she?

This he/she/it stuff is killing me!

Well, they say if you are average+ weight to start with the beginning you shouldn't gain much. I weighed about 135 at 5'7" prepregnancy and have gained 5 so far (16weeks2days). I was thrilled.

I totally hear ya about he/she/it. 12 days till we find out Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread

I'm feeling pretty good right now (13.5 weeks). very few food aversions, sleeping ok, and my maternity pants are still loose.

as of 2 weeks ago, I've lost 5 lbs. I'm definitely not eating more than before I was pregnant, so I doubt I'm gaining too much weight.

The next appt is 4/8.... I hope we can find out the gender then!

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread

Still feeling good. Had actually lost weight at last doctors appointment but she wasn't concerned. Next appointment is at 17 weeks on April 11th. We find out the sex on May 2nd. Can't wait!!! Still in regular clothes but feeling like I might need to make the switch soon... Celebrating a big birthday this weekend and then off to Vegas on Wednesday!!

I have a question for those of you who have felt the baby... The other night I was leaning over and when I sat up I felt almost like a "pulse" in my belly. Then I think I MIGHT have felt flutters. Has anyone ever felt anything like a pulse? Sometimes I think my mind is playing tricks on me!

Well we went for our 17 week dr visit, saw the little one and scheduled our level II for April 17th to find out the sex. How are all my September mommies feeling? I still have occasional morning nausea, but definitely more energy!!

Weight check: 6 pounds at week 14

Feel OK, had some more bleeding this week.

I think I scared a first time mom last night, I told her my bleeding story. I thought she was going on baby #2, I mis-heard this is her first baby.

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread

Hi All Chat Icon
I have gained about 5 lbs since the beginning.

You may have all read my little hospital eposide the other night. I had a gall bladder attack and it appears that I have gall stones. Now I REALLY have to watch what I eat. Chat Icon The doctors want to avoid doing surgery while I am preggo. In addition to a no-fat/low-fat diet, I have to watch my salt intake b/c I swelled up really bad during my last pregnancy and I want to avoid that again this time.

Otherwise, my next appointment is April 23rd. I am definitely planning on finding out what we are having. DH is going with me that day, so I am so excited Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread

So how is everyone feeling? Who is feeling the baby???? I THINK I felt her today but I can't be sure. I am 19 weeks tomorrow. Chat Icon

I am shocked at how much faster the second trimester is going. I feel great, people are saying I look good, and I am just loving being pregnant although I am beginning to get bigger everywhere so it's not just this little bump anymore Chat Icon Let's see what happen snext week. Most girls seem to really POP about 20 weeks. Hope you are all feeling good.

Hey, has everyone who was in hiding come out???? Chat Icon

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread

I am 16 weeks and I feel GREAT!! I am enjoying every single minute of this pregnancy. It's such a joy and I LOVE being pregnant. I LOVE knowing there is this little peanut growing inside of me.....it's amazing!!!

You're right too, the 2nd trimester is absolutely moving along faster than the 1st. The 1st trimester seemed endless and I felt awful but all of my symptoms went away, I feel wonderful, I listen to HB every day when I get home with my Baby Beats monitor, and I am just so content. Now I am just waiting for the little peanut to start moving around enough so I can feel it. I can't wait for that!!

We've been registering, we found the baby furniture we want, and we bought the paint and trim for the room. We also scheduled our Level II (May 6th) and our 3D/4D Ultrasound (May 31st). So much to look forward to!!

I hope you guys are all feeling well and enjoying your pregnancy. This is such an exciting time and it's nice to be able to share it with you guys. Here's to a happy and blissful 2nd trimester!! Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread

hi all....

I came out (my other avatar name is to the left <-------) when I got the ultrascreen results.

I'm 15.5 weeks, and feeling very good. I just invested in my summer preggo wardobe (3 pairs of capris, several tees and tanks) and also just bought the crib and changing table Chat Icon

I still have no idea..... Chat Icon or Chat Icon Chat Icon It's driving me nuts! my level II is on 5/6 at lunch time... I'm counting the minutes.....

I feel very good. I sleep fairly well (except for all of those bathroom trips!), and don't have any digestive / pain issues.... so I'm trying to get a ton of work done as long as I feel this good!

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread

16 weeks and feeling Extremely bloated and I am loosing my appetite. I still have yet to encounter this phantom 2nd trimester energy you girls speak of and I am finding it harder to breathe, especially when I lay down. Other than that, I feel good - just counting the days till my next appointment and my level II!

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread

16 weeks and feeling good. I haven't gained any weight...I'm actually losing, although I am getting a belly...I think the fat is all just going to my midsection.
I don't have much of an appetite and I'm slightly worried b/c all I want to eat is red meat...So I think on Monday (I'm getting blood drawn) I'm going to ask if they can check my iron levels.
Looking forward to the 24th b/c that is when we find out the sex!

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread

I am 18 weeks not 17. I guess little Chat Icon was just a little small or the original ultrasound tech just couldnt get a good measurement, but the doctor today who did the ultrasound said I am most definately on target and 18.9 weeks pregnant. Due date is Sept 5. She is sending all of that over to my regular doctor. (I have that appt on the 16th)

It is definately Chat Icon

Little peanut was laying on his back and quite proud to show his stuff Chat Icon

Everything is great and baby is just perfect Chat Icon

We leave tomorrow for our babymoon, a 7 day cruise in the carribbean. I am SO excited and can not wait.
I will say I am having a hard time adjusting to the idea that I am getting bigger and needing to buy L maternity bathing suits.

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread

I am 16 weeks and finally able to stay up past 9pm. For the most part I am feeling fine, but I can't wait for my belly to start showing more. I purposefully wear the tops that hug me under my boobs so that my bump looks bigger! Chat Icon

I don't know what we're having yet...my Level II is on April 29th. The technician at 12 weeks guessed girl, so we'll see if the Level II confirms that.

I'll keep you all updated! Have a great weekend!
