I understand that not all bikers are like this. But when I see the stickers "Watch for bikers" I always roll my eyes. Yes, I watch for them b/c a good amount of them act like azzholes and scare the crap out of me when I am driving.

I cut off someone on a motorcycle once, totally not intentional at all. I looked multiple times, didn't see anyone. He had to swerve and almost went down. It was actually quite scary for him and for me. I pulled over after the fact and made sure he was okay. Can you imagine if he beat me up for cutting him off unintentionally?

How many times have you been cut off by another driver on the road?
Did you then proceed to chase him down, stop short in front of him on a highway while your pack friends surround him and his family in their car?
Did you then bash their window in and try to bash in the back window where their child was?
Did you pull him out of the window and beat him in the street in front of his family?
I didn't think so....please stop with your posts about there being more to the story. I and many others don't need 'more to the story' to see what POS scum these people are.
This could have easily have been ANYONE on these boards...it makes me sick to even think about how this could have been my family...

this is CRAZY wtf do you expect the driver to do but flee when you act like animals?!?! annual ride or not, the roads don't belong to them and they FORCED that driver to tap their bumper by brake checking him. this is absolutely insane and I am horrified for the wife and child in that car. If i had my baby in the car you're damn straight i'd run you over if you try to attack me or my vehicle or open the door to my car. I can't believe over 6 minutes length wasn't enough for anyone else to intervene...911 should have been called immediately by the wife while he was trying to escape

i don't care if he cut them off...the way they behaved is disgusting...and MAYBE he cut them off because they were acting like they own the whole road. in the video you can see they are all over and taking up the whole road. Bikers are taught to SHARE the road...not overtake it.
The fact that most of them don't even have license plates doesn't bode well for them either. Those bikes had no business even being on the road with no license plate...15 of them were arrested BEFORE this incident occurred because of the reckless way they were driving.

The bikers were wrong. And I find it quite difficult to believe they would video their wrongdoings and yet not have any evidence of whatever horrible thing the man in the truck did earlier.
The guy who got hit by the car deserved it. He put himself in harms way by stopping short in front of the truck in an attempt to get him to stop his vehicle so they could beat him.
THis story just keeps getting crazier.

and why was he run over....because the RR wanted to get by the bikers and didn't want to get in the left lane that was open and every other car was passing them by in.
Please. This driver of the RR is not innocent by any means and so far the media has only shown one side.
I am still not condoning the riders actions by beating him in front of his family but I am sorry....if you run over one of my friends I am probably going to chase you down and get you to stop so the cops can arrest you.

This is just ONE of many responses from other motorists who saw these scumbags riding that day.
'I saw these guys yesterday, the bikers, and what a pack of assholes they were. Splitting lanes on the highway at speed (70mph between 2 cars), cutting people off. They had me boxed in so I couldn't get out of an exit only lane so they could get off. Not saying they deserve to be hit, but they had it coming.
I had my blinker on and was handsignalling I needed to get out of the exit only lane. everyone kept passing on the left to cut me off in front of the exit, 4-5 of them flipped me off. I tried rolling slow but they had no inkling of how to ride well. I ride myself, and this was just heinous."
They had NO permit to be on the roads taking over them as if they owned them and could tell drivers where they can and can go.
Again, I feel no sympathy towards the bike rider who is in a coma. All I can say is karma is a bitchh!!!
If someone runs over my friend - I call the cops and let them do their jobs, NOT TAKE MATTERS INTO MY OWN HANDS!
I just can't fathom how you can even feel a bit of remorse for any of them?

so can someone tell me what happend right before he ran over the guy?
From what i can see it seems like something happened before they purposley stopped and RR hit the guy and then all i see one guy looks like trying to talk/yell to the guy in RR through the window and then RR running over the guy.
Again either way i dont think it was right for the bikers to chase the guy down and beat him up.
Is this the point where they slashed his tire? when they were beating him up?
i feel like the media is reporting so many different stories. They cant even get the kids age right

sorry but its WAY more complicated than you are making it seem. If this is the man who stopped short in front of the SUV to prevent him from fleeing, I am going to be bold and say YES he deserved this. If someone comes between the safety of myself and my CHILDREN, I will do whatever is necessary to get myself out of that situation. Do you think there was a way for the SUV to change lanes (that left lane that you mentioned) without hitting this guy who was ON his front bumper?

My thoughts exactly. Im sure Ive accidentally cut someone off before and I dont think this is an acceptable reaction AT ALL. Honking would be an acceptable reaction, maybe yelling a curse or two and giving me the finger. These men were ANIMALS.

This was the guy that the RR driver ran over. This guy is in a medically induced coma and might not walk again.
and why was he run over....because the RR wanted to get by the bikers and didn't want to get in the left lane that was open and every other car was passing them by in.
Please. This driver of the RR is not innocent by any means and so far the media has only shown one side.
I am still not condoning the riders actions by beating him in front of his family but I am sorry....if you run over one of my friends I am probably going to chase you down and get you to stop so the cops can arrest you.
sorry. But that picture doesn't make me feel bad at all. While he may not have been the one to brake check the driver or cut him off...he made a conscious decision to be a part of what was going on in the moment. He was right there as they slashed his tires and tried to pull him out of his car. It sucks that he got run over and ended up with these injuries...but he CHOSE to stay there and be a part of it.
If you expect to corner a man and pull him out of his car and have him believe his family is in danger and expect him to stay put and accept it...thats just crazy.
This all could have been avoided if they didnt escalate the whole scenario

I understand that not all bikers are like this. But when I see the stickers "Watch for bikers" I always roll my eyes. Yes, I watch for them b/c a good amount of them act like azzholes and scare the crap out of me when I am driving.

Everyone involved was in the wrong. There was more involved before the video. you are only seeing a short piece.

sorry but its WAY more complicated than you are making it seem. If this is the man who stopped short in front of the SUV to prevent him from fleeing, I am going to be bold and say YES he deserved this. If someone comes between the safety of myself and my CHILDREN, I will do whatever is necessary to get myself out of that situation. Do you think there was a way for the SUV to change lanes (that left lane that you mentioned) without hitting this guy who was ON his front bumper?
Exactly! He didnt just run him over, they were clearly BY THEIR OWN VIDEO trying to mob the RR. The guy who was run over is CLEARLY seen stopping in the middle of the highway in front of the RR to make him stop. When THE BIKERS started to mob his card with his wife and CHILD in it, only THEN did he flee and run the guy over. Oh well.
Other mostorists/witnesses called the cops ON THE BIKERS, not on the guy in the RR. THe police ARE NOT pressing charges on the RR driver, arrested one of the BIKERS and are looking for two others, that to me is very telling. There are numerous other reports of this group harassing other motorists and causing trouble elsewhere.
Sounds like its time to find new friends to me.

I just wanted to add, regarding the photo of the injured man. If that were MY child, I would feel the same way. I have zero tolerance for any form of bullying, retaliation, gang or mob behavior. That may sound cold and heartless, so be it.

This is not some innocent group of bikers either, they have a history of wreaking havoc where ever they go, like last year
