When we were looking at houses, I refused to even look at any that were in heavily wooded areas. I HATE, with a burning passion, having to walk past bushes to get to the house. My heart races and I go crazy. I can't do it.
And don't even get me started about windows without curtains....I have a terrible terrible fear of having a face staring back at me. (I blame my alcoholic uncle for that one!! )

When we first bought our house I refused to go in the basement by myself at night but now I do. The garage at night is still scary even though it's attached.
I still hate the basement in my mother's house-

our basement scares me, i get freaked out everytime i'm down there & run up the stairs as soon as i'm done doing the laundry
This is really funny-I am really scared of basements too. You can't imagine how NOT having a basement in our house makes me so happy. I don't care about the storage, I'd give it up to avoid creepers.
