I was older when I had tubes, but it's a quick and easy procedure. I totally understand your nervousness, but I'm sure he'll do great.

he will do great!!! its march harder on the parents when they are so little. my son had surgery in nov at 8mnths.

He'll do great and even better he won't be bothered by the ear infections anymore! I've been there (with having my baby in surgery) and I know it's gut wrenching but he'll be just fine!!!

He will be fine. My cousin had the same thing done at his age and he made it through the surgery just fine and the ear infections stopped. Hang in there!

My 2 year old is having his tonsils and adneoids out on Wednesday. I am a wreck. What ENT are you using? We had the tubes put in last year. It was god send......not one ear infection since. It's a quick surgery and he was himself by the next day. I am a little concerned with the recovery this time.

OMG, Melissa!!! Poor little guy! You are doing the right thing, IMO. I think usually when kids have constant ear infections it can even affect their speech! I could be wrong so no flames here!
But either way, you do your research. You are up on everything. You ARE doing the right thing for Ronan.
Best wishes to you and him! Declan will be sitting in the waiting room wondering where he is!
