It is scary to watch your little one have to deal with this, but rest assured it will be harder for you than it will be for them. Abby was a trouper when she got her tubes.
Think of it this way, a child with chronic ear infections, who needs tubes, hears the world as if they are under water. This could have an effect on how they hear, speak and their ability to balance. That is why I did not hesitate one bit to have it done for Abby.
Good luck. When he goes in, get a cup of coffee and by the time you get back to the waiting room, he will be all done!

i had numerous surgeries as a kid to put tubes in. i turned out fine.  he'll be ok!

Hi! Just had a myringotomy in both ears with my DD on the 5th.
It went very well, no more ear infections and she is already talking more. Good luck!!!!!! It is such a hard thing to go through but luckily it is soooo short and goes quick and you baby will be home in no time. any other detailed questions please ask, best of luck!

aww, Im sure he will be fine! DD has been getting ear infections so we are keeping an eye on it. Hoping it doesn't become chronic.
