Just curious.

I wonder what her reaction was the next day after looking back at her performance.

Especially since every social network out there was overloaded with derogatory things about how she looked / acted on stage.

She will either look back & try to change her ways, or this could have actually triggered a downhill spiral for her.

I personally cant stand her, but I really do hope she gets the help she needs. As bad as she acted & looked, I cant help but look at her & I'm reminded of my own daughter and think that Miley was someones little baby girl- kwim?

She probably didnt care. Probably expected backlash. New album coming out soon. This was a taste of any tour she has coming up. I don't forsee drugs or rehab like many do. Maybe ill end up wrong, but I just don't see it. Only time will tell.

Do I think it was worst thing ever? No

I heard on the radio that she is was tweeting that she had more posts on facebook and more tweets about her than historic world events like the big black out. She was braging about how much attention she has gotten.

She knew what she was doing. She has been trying to go over the top and be outrageous. 1st chopping her hair, then going out with crazy cloths, now this she sees as a success.

It wasn’t just that she was over the top but she looked like she could have been on something. She was all over the place and looked so uncoordinated. Her dance moves (if you can call them that) weren’t just gross but they were sloppy too.

Her performance took precedence over Syria using chemical weapons on people. Did anyone know that?

every guy i know said he "loved" the performance and they are "now a miley fan" ... i get it... but the guys that like her for her appearance or what she is trying to represent... are they going to buy her music? maybe music video but i feel she will be losing female fans who pay $.

I just don't get any of this at all. Whether it's an act, or a new lifestyle, or what, it's just gross and dirty looking. Why would she want to willingly do this to herself?

I agree with the "NAILED IT" post. This is what she wanted. She said it on the red carpet "im gonna top the Britney/Madonna/Christina kiss"

The sad thing is its not about the art anymore. The world is a sad sad place. It makes me so frustrated. Its about the sex these stars sell. She SHOULD BE sad because no one cares if shes talented or is talking about her song or how great her voice sounded or how emotional the song was or evoked a feeling. Even if its a dance song it can evoke a feeling. A happy one or a memory of something. You still hear the words and think or feel something. NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT THAT. Instead they are talking about how skanky she is and shes proud of it. And so is her dad apparently who tweeted out some sad shit too...

Music used to be about talent and its not anymore. Hollywood used to be about talent and its not anymore. That's why Kim Kardashian is a star. Paris Hilton was one. And all these other people like Miley Cyrus who actually has a nice voice if she would let that speak for herself. If she came out and actually sang and did something to reflect that talent. I didn't like her to begin with because I have always felt she is trying way too hard. She comes across as VERY VERY DESPERATE. Shes screaming HEY LOOK AT ME IM A BAD ASS CHICK... IM ROCK N ROLL.
