My employer contributes 3% of my salary even if I don't contribute and a match of up to 2% of my salary. They also contribute 3% to a cash balance plan.
DH's employer does nothing except contribute 2% to a cash balance plan.

I believe they contrbute .50 for every dollar you put in, minimum of 5%.

My company matches 100% for up to 6% of your salary.
Mine too. 4 years after I opened my account I CAN NOT believe how much I have in there.

I work for the biggest Mutual Fund in the US...
My company contributes 15% in June & 15% in December -total of 30% of my gross income including bonuses & overtime...as you can see, I am not going anywhere....

May dollar to dollar for the first 3% then .50C to the dollar for the rest of the 3%....after that no matching.
