How often is normal? And how much?

Well, I would guess like a teaspoon after a feeding would be considered normal, at least that's what my ped. told me. Spill a teaspoon of water on a napkin to get an idea of what it looks like. All babies spit-up, especially if they're not very good at knowing when they're full. As long as she's not writhing in pain or uncomfortable, I wouldn't worry.

My Ped said to be concerned when it was a lot, projectile and 3-4 consecutive feedings.
Some spitting up is normal, small amounts, like previous poster stated.

I was always told unless its projectile or green - there was nothing to worry about.

I think I pester the ped with this question at each visit, but he keeps telling me "all babies spit up. As long as she is gaining weight and growing, its not concern...." yada yada yada
