Luca (born in 2008) ranked 303rd that year, Isadora (born in 2010) "is not in the top 1000 female names for any year of birth in the last 12 years." Neither is her nickname, Izzie.

DS has been in the top 20 for the last 10 years, but this past week, at summer camp, was the first time he's ever been with someone with the same name as him. School, Scouts, sports, etc.....
"Common" is only common when the other people with that name are nearby. I know other kids with "uncommon" names, according to SSA, but they are popular locally, so there are several with the same name.

#63 in his birth year. It was a fairly common name when WE were kids, as it is classic/traditonal, but I like that it is not as common now.

ETA: I remembered my kids names being less common then the above numbers. When I was pregnant and choosing names I went by the NY list. Thats why!

Mason #12 in 2010 but is now #2! It's funny because when I found out I was pregnant I wanted the name Mason for a boy or girl because I collect antique Mason jars and then a month after Kourtney Kardashian had her baby and named him Mason and so did everyone else on the planet lol. We still named him Mason and everyone asks if we did so because of the Kardashians and it really bothers me!
Jackson #23 in 2011 but he was born this year
