Spinoff: Monitor question for more than 1 child

Do you have a monitor in each child's room? Right now I have an audio and a video monitor in DD#1's room. When we move DD#2 into her own room, do I get an audio monitor and put it in there as well?

I only started using the video monitor when DD#1 went into a toddler bed and suddenly had the freedom to roam about her room. So I only use it when I hear something that I want to see. Until that time, we only had the Sony Babycall for sound.

Should I get another audio and video one for DD#2? Use just audio for #2 and still keep both for #1?

WWYD? Or what did you do?

Our bedroom is on the other side of the house so we use the audio one in older DD room and the video in the baby's room. They each have a sound machine too so you can imagine how loud it is in our room at bedtimeChat Icon

We have a Summer Handheld for each child. Worth every penny IMO.

We never had a video monitor, but we had a separate sound monitor in each DC's room since birth.

Same. Except we did get a video monitor after Abby had the seizure in Jan. I'll be honest, it's on every night (she's 2), but we actually never look at it. As for DD#1 (she'll be 4 in Sept.), we stopped using the audio monitor quite a while ago.

I wouldn't bother with two audios and two videos.
