Spinoff-So, how much do YOU pay for healthcare?

ETA: I don't pay anything. My employer covers me and my DH. And, if I have kids, they will cover that too.

I feel lucky, but I also believe this is the way..

for healthcare family plan, for 3 people, 90 dollars a month.

dental is just for me and my son, and it's 10 a month

and my vision is covered, too, but you don't pay unless you need contacts/glasses

i feel grateful & wish others had my plan.

around $500 . We were paying $400 for dh and I and $400 for the girls ,but now it is $400 for dh and I and $90 for the girls.

About $100 per month for family coverage. It's really $315 per month, but my company reimburses us for my portion because it's cheaper for me to be on my DHs plan than what they'd pay for me to be on my own plan with them. We got very lucky with our coverage.

We are very lucky that my DHs employer has a very good plan, we pay about $50 a month for a family plan and have excellent coverage.

Because of this we have to consider his benefits income, he is unhappy at his current job, but finding another job in this economy with good benefits is proving to be very difficult.

I think 600 but it could be as high as 650 That is for me, dh and 2 kids.

$1250/month for our small business plan. That covers DH, me as his dependent and an employee. It's a good plan, has vision and dental as well but they keep raising our copays.

I pay close to $500/month for me, DH and DD.

$216/m for me and DH and I work for the government.


This includes no vision, no dental. LOL I thought the government was supposed to have the best benefits! I am not complaining though!

Get ready for it...$15K a year! This is a family plan, but does not include vision or dental for which we have no insurance. My DH is a small business owner. Previously, before I became a SAHM, I held the insurance and while theoretically I didn't "pay" anything...my salary was only around $50K at a Catholic high school after 11 years teaching plus an MSEd!

mine is paid by my employer, DH and DS are $60/mo through DH's employer (free dental)

eta: i have no vision plan, but my dental is covered through DH

$400/month for family plan including vision & dental through my job - we have to pay copayments and prescriptions

Last year I was paying about $330 and the plan had no deductibles. This year it went up to 400 and now we have deductibles of $1000pp.

We pay into ours and I'm on my DH's plan.

My plan at work was twice the price and half the coverage...

We pay $75 every two weeks for the two of us, no kids and we have $500 deductibles per person that we have to hit before we're covered...I switched to his in November and hit my deductible and then the year changed and now I have to do it all over again!

Plus about $600 a month in co-pays for rx"s, formula for dd and dr visits.

I'm on DH's plan. He pays about 300 a month plus co-pays ect. This is for medical, dental and vision.
