Spinoff to Xelindryas funny post..YOUR most embarassing mommy moment

What was your most embarrassing mommy moment? A time when your smart lil character called you out on something?!?!
Ill start..

Im in the dressing room at Express when my ds was about 3, and now fully potty trained..so obviously very interested in everyones underwear lol

Im quickly trying to find a dress, so hes playing with his buzz lightyear figure..and i say, "OK Nicky!! Turn around for a minute so mommy can have some privacy!!"

(he knew what "privacy" or "privary" as he called it, meant, because he asked for it all the time in the bathroom lol)

so he turns around, and loudly says to his buzzlight year figure...

"Buzz, i think YOU should tell mommy that her undies have no tushie on them"..."Mommy, why do you have a string in your tushie and no undies on?"

(im trying to ignore him, but the 4 or 5 ladies in the dressing rooms are definately laughing at me)

"Um, these are girls undies, and i thought i told you to turn around?!"

so he says.."i did mommy, i wanted to show buzz your undies to ask him if he had them on too!"

DS doesn't speak yet, but we went out to dinner one night and were leaving. I had DS in my arms walking out, and a couple a booth diagonal to us asks me how old he was. I talk to them quickly, smile then start walking away, then I happen to take a glimpse down.

DS was holding on to my shirt, and had pulled it all the way down exposing my boob (in my bra of course). I quickly pulled it up, then realized these people just got a show-including the group of people that were waiting at the end of the aisle to walk down it for a seat..

oh ok wait, i get two stories for my 2 kids then lol your reminds me of something that happened to me last month lol

im nursing my dd, its 8:45am. im exhausted, unkempt, totally spent..and my ds gets on the bus for school..i turn around and see he left his lunch on the table..and im like oh no, i cant let him go to school with no lunch!!
so i run down the stairs in a mad dash to make it outside before the bus comes..
i get onto the porch JUST as the bus is pulling up in front of my house..
my son looks horrified..
im angry thinking.."how freeakin ungreatful!. i just stopped feeding your sister to bring you lunch that YOU forgot and you look mad!?!?"
he runs up the stairs FAST and says uh thanks mom..and as hes running back to the bus, my next door neighbor says "uh, Jaim.." and pulls up her shirt

i look down and realize that i just exposed my sons entire bus and my nieghbors to my Ubangi Tribe sized boob, that i forgot to stuff back into my nursing tank..

how do you like THAT?!

Recently I was on line in subway with Johnny. We were behind an old man who started kind of half picking his nose (gross, especially since it was a food place!!!).

Anyway johnny starts pointing to the old man and yelling "EWWWW, NO PICK!". He repeated this a few times and I had to keep whispering to him to be quiet..it just made it worse and he shouted it louder.

I had recently caught Johnny nose mining and said similar stuff to him about picking your nose being gross...I guess he learned the lesson!

Checking out at WalMart and the clearly female cashier has severe facial hair. It looked like she must even shave it
When DD(3 at the time) stands up in the cart and says very loudly, Mommy, is that girl a boy or a girl??? UUUGGGHHH!
I tell her to sit down and mind her business and I wisper in her ear, we will talk about it in the car. She then again, very loudly, says, talk about what? Is it a boy or a girl, tell me mommy.
I was mortified!

When Lea was 2 I was sitting at the dinner table with all of my IL's for Thanksgivig ,when Lea decided it was a good time to see what was under my shirt ,so she zipped down my sweater and everyone got to see my goods

I was getting over a stomach virus and had real bad gas. We were shopping and I "tooted" and it didn't exactly smell pleasant. Amber bellows out for everyone "Mom, you tooted"!! and totally blows (no pun intended) my cover. I was mortified and quickly rushed out of there!!

The other day we were in Physical Therapy for my arm. The doctor is pulling on my arm, etc. (frozen shoulder) and I'm wincing in pain. She starts telling the PT "You're hurting my Mommy" and starts rubbing my arm and telling me it's going to be ok. Then she put her hand on my boob and asked "Does your tita hurt too Mommy? Does the doctor have to pull that too?" (she knew I had breast surgery back in June). I almost fell on the floor as alot of guys in the office chuckled.

Ooh this is fun. So I still nurse Sabrina once a day. A few months ago we were in Target and walking through the lingerie section on the way to another dept. Right in the middle of the store Sabrina shouts.

"Mommy! Those are bras! Bras cover Mommy's milky!"

mikayla is obsessed with my boobs, she will look down my shirt and then look down her shirt and ask "mommy, where are MY boobies"

we were in target and walking past the bra section and she screams "mommy, LOOK, those are for boobies"

I was not even embarassed, I just thought it was so funny

This is great!!! Its like reading those confession stories in cosmo.. but a lot better. Im now scared since my dd is almost at your dcs ages.. but it should be interesting to see what she does.

I have a couple.

Last year at the beach my son hated his swim trunks, so I let him run around in his swimmie diaper. So I hear these older kids laughing HYSTERICALLY and pointing at him. I was annoyed, because I thought they were making fun of him. When I went to pick him up I saw that he had pulled the whole front part of his diaper down, and his privates were flopping around for the world to see


When my family came over to visit us a couple of days after I had DS, my DD had to go to the bathroom. So I went with her because I had to go too. As soon as I sat down she gasped and said "Mommy, you're bleeding!" I tried to explain to her that it was no big deal, but she wasn't listening. So, she opens the door, runs downstairs, and I can hear her yelling, "Mommy is bleeding! Call 911! 911! 911!" I didn't want to come downstairs it was so embarrassing

Honestly, I'm not even sure where to start. My husband & I still debate whose idea it was to teach them how to talk.

There is no "most" with my kids.

It's been everything from leaving their play (but very real looking) handcuffs out for the FedEx guy to see...the day I went to work & everyone I came in contact with from the train to my breakfast place smiled at me...then later at work I noticed I had glitter on my face from Maddie's dress up outfits.

In a crowded elevator my then 3 year son volunteered "This elevator makes my penis feel funny" & when he tried to get him to quiet down with everyone in supressed laughter, he asked his dad if it made his penis feel weird too.

In church when the altar boys rang the bell, my little Maddie clapped her hands & yelled "Ice Cream Man!"

When Joseph was little he would randomly pick parts of his body that hurt for attention. So he'd tell me his eyelash hurt, his hair hurt..but in church, he complained that his "nipples were hurting". Hmmm..wonder why we stopped bothering to get up early for mass?

Probably the most embarassing public moment was right before Maddie was born. We hadn't mentioned to Joseph we were having a baby because I didn't think he could distinguish between someone heavy & pregnant since he was under 2 & could talk a lot. I was waiting on line in a store & he lifted my shirt up, pointe to my belly & said "Baby?". I said "yes, that's the baby." Then he pointed to my newly outed belly button & said "Baby's nose?"

The latest was probably Joseph's artwork

I do have to say I don't think I've ever laughed so hard before I had kids. It's been quite the ride.
