I spent my days off at Malibu, VooDoo, Limelight (when it was Communion), 007. Sometimes I'd go to Dallingers to see my friend bartend.
I worked at 56th, Zachary's, Big Easy Roadhouse/Trilogy, Bridgeview & a bunch of other LI places.

I went to Panama Jakes, too. What a dive...of course, that was underage.
Summertimes was also underage. When I came of age it was Metro 700, Zacharys, Chelsea Street, Wall Street, CPI, LI Saloon, Viva Loco, 56th Fighter Group, Cyberia, and a few more I'm sure I'm missing.
ETA Dalingers and Sprats on the water, Sprats on Cement, Mulcahy's, Industry and the Island Park clubs.

Vinyl in Manhattan, my friend used to DJ there...we would go at like 9 and stay until after everyone left, I was probably around 18...then it got shut down because of 2 shootings.....

I grew up in NYC so I pretty much have been to all of the Manhattan clubs mentioned. I wasn't ever too crazy about the "scene" , though, too overwhelming for me.
Does anybody remember System in the mid nineties? It was such a fun place!!!Clubby, but smaller and cozier than the larger clubs. I think it eventually became Plaid in the 2000's?
It was on 11th between 3rd and 4th, possibly.
Also, we loved Madison's on the Upper East in the late nineties. Very fun place. It is very young now and has changed names. Don't remember the new one?
ETA: Oh, and the old Buddha Bar on Varick street. That was more of a bar but fun place. Anyone rem that?

Me too! Also Life, (I actually had a VIP card) and a ton of lounges in the village (Merc bar, Sweet and Vicious, Church Lounge) and since I was living in Brooklyn Heights, lots of local Brooklyn lounges.

I was at Finley's in Huntington with my friends every weekend....also Christopher's.
I stopped doing the city thing when I came of age, which is silly, but when I began to date DH, who at the time lived on the UESide, we always went out to lounges and stuff.
But I always think of my partying/going out years in Huntington Village.
