Talk to me about Naps
Question 1: How do you deal with different nap needs for your twins?
Question 2: How did/are you currently transitioning from 2 naps down to 1?
Background! 18 months old at the end of Oct...we are at that point where DS definitely only needs one nap, and DD is the most sleepy child and requires two (usually because one is cut short by her brother's screaming and antics).
Right now they take their best nap about 2 hours after they wake up (I have no clue how we got on that schedule but it has been that way for months) for about 2 hours. Then about an hour or two after lunch DD will go down for about 1-1.5 hours and DS will sit in his crib, or cry and then come play with me while DD sleeps.
Any advice or help you can give would be much appreciated as I am nearing the crazy mom line very quickly!

They always go down together. One needs more sleep then the other. I just kept tweaking the time of the naps till it worked for both. Baby a still gets up first, but at least they go down together and gives us some peace.

Re: Talk to me about Naps
Always always always down together at the same time. I need the guarantee of at least some break. If 1 wakes up first and I think I can sneak them out quietly, I will. Otherwise, the 1 up first will play in their crib with some toys until both are up.
I fought the transition from 2 naps to 1 nap for a looooong time. We even did "quiet time" for a while in the afternoon Now that they are napping 1x, they take a much longer nap so its definitely worth making the transition when they are ready.

Re: Talk to me about Naps
I'm glad to hear that I can keep putting them down together, and I guess I'll just slowly keep pushing the time of nap 1 back and back till it falls a bit more mid-day. Thanks for the feedback ladies!
