I would have lost it on that woman, no matter if I was with my child or not...I would have put her in her place and shown her child what happens to you when you're an ignorant POS, so that her kids don't grow up to be like her!!!!!!!!!!

Forget healthy eating habits (when taught in that manner her lessons won't be effective anyway), but with a mother like that those kids are going to have a whole host of issues.

That would be so sweet! I am so sorry you had to deal with this vile woman and her blatant disregard to other people, their sensitivity and the fool she makes of herself in public with her children watching. I too struggled my entire life with weight and I am just stunned and outraged over what this woman did today.
You should be commended on your weight loss successes! While you are able to do something about your weight, unfortunately - this woman basically will do nothing to better herself or the values about human kind she is teaching her children.
How on earth you had the strength to not pummel this woman right into the frozen food cases and leave her there is beyond me!

That makes me really and also . I have been the target of cruel remarks like that (not for my weight, but because of a birth defect/deformity I was born with).
This goes beyond ignorance- it is also teaching her children to be cruel. I am sorry you had to endure that. But I truly believe that good, kind people come out ahead...

Just remember, far better to be you and know that she's the problem, than to be her and have to live as unhappily as she clearly is! And hopefully her kids will grow up to know their mother is a wack job.
