Terrible pain
I am having pain in my lower left side in my abdomen radiating towards my left side of my back. Anyone have any idea what it could be?TIA

I don't think so. I just have never had pain in this area before. At first it was running along my c-section scar. Now it is radiating towards my back.

how high is it up your back. I had a swollen kidney while pregnant last year and it was up like the middle of my back and shot down my back.. could you have a kidney infection or stone?

It is in my lower back on the left hand side going to the middle. The front part almost feels like a constant intense ovulation pain. It's hard to explain.

When I had my kidney infection, it wasn't really in the front abdomen area at all. It was all in my back! It hurt like a mofo. I ended up ignoring it and ended up hospitalized for over a week and having to have a stent put in to clear up the blockage.
From what you describe, it doesn't really sound like a kidney, but I'd have it checked out

I took advil, tums and pepto and it is subsiding now. If it comes back I will head to my DR.

Hvae you ever had ovarian cysts? or fibroids (i dont know if fibroids are painful- but i know that cysts are)... i would def get it checked out.

I had a similar pain and I had kidney stones. Advil helped the pain go away. Let's hope its not that though!
