Texture issues and eating
So, we're still working with Mason on his texture issues with food. He's making some progress, but still a long road to go. Still has babyfood, but now we can add some cereal, cookies (toddler cookies that break up easily), trying toast and he even had some meatloaf. still afraid to try pasta or chicken b/c they don't breakdown easily.
Also, when I give him food like toast he's very hesitant. He has a trust issue with food. Even some days he'll like it and the next day he won't have anything to do with it. For intance, he was on a watermellon kick for a few days and now screams if I give it to him. He doesn't even like to pick up his toast. He makes a face and points. Also, with art he's the same way with painting, but the daycare teachers say he's getting better. He didn't qualify for therapy so we went to an out of network place. She was great, but a fortune and I can't afford to keep going back to see her for more tips. Any ideas? Anyone familiar with this? THanks!

Thanks! The therapist gave us some great tricks and said she'd give us more info when he's ready to move onto the next stage. Issue is she's pricey. She was responding to my email and now stopped. Probably b/c I have to go make another appt and pay a few hundred out of pocket again
