They're going for an even 20!
Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, stars of TLC's 19 Kids and Counting, are expecting their 20th child this spring.
"We are so excited," says Michelle, 45, who is now about three-and-a-half months into her pregnancy and due in April. "I feel good. I am past the sickness stage now."
The Tontitown, Ark., couple, who are parents to children Joshua, 23 (who is married to Anna, 23 and has two children, Mackynzie, 2 and Michael, 4 months), twins Jana and John-David, 21; Jill, 20; Jessa, 19; Jinger, 17; Joseph, 16; Josiah, 15; Joy-Anna, 14; twins Jedidiah and Jeremiah, 12; Jason, 11; James, 10; Justin, 8; Jackson, 7; Johanna, 6; Jennifer, 4; and Jordyn, 3, weathered the medical emergency of their youngest daughter, Josie's birth on Dec. 10, 2009.
She was born following Michelle's preeclampsia diagnosis at a mere 25 weeks, weighing only 1lb., 6 oz.
Josie's medical drama – and Michelle's own fight for survival – was documented throughout their TV series. Josie will turn 2 in December and is developing normally, without any longterm effects from her premature birth.
"It is a miracle. Josie is the most energetic, busy little almost-2-year-old," says Michelle. "She is short, and yet she can keep up with the big girls and she thinks she is just as big as they are. We are amazed at what she can do."

i really can't get over this!!! after what they went through with Josie!!! I actually like them but after the last pregnancy I wouldn't take the chance of getting preggers again. Doesn't this woman ever get tired? I'm exhausted with 4!!!!!!

Id be rather concerned for Michelle's health and the health of the baby given the circumstances of her last pregnancy and the birth being very premature. However, I couldn't give a crap how many kids she has. It is not my business until and unless my tax dollars are involved and I am forced to pay for it.

You know what. I have to really give it to them. Cause i have 2 dc and its NOT easy. I cant imagine having 3 kids, forget about 20!!

Where do they find the time for sex? and do they get pregnant every single time they do the deed. Such a fertile couple and they r not that young anymore!
I used to tihnk it was kinda cool--especially b/c they r all very self sufficent and dont depend on the gov. to take care of all their kids but now I think its getting ridiculous health wise.

congrats to them, but at the same time... 20 kids, that cant be good on her health i hope for a easy and breaszy 9 months but one can only worry when her body has hasd enough.

I wonder when her uterus is finally going to give up and fall out.
I understand their religion and all, but when your last baby almost died because your body couldn't handle it anymore.... When do you take a step back and say, "ya know maybe we should stop"

I don't mean to be mean buttttt I kind of feel like it isn't her job to overpopulate the earth anymore than it already is.
I read an article about if all of her kids have x amount of kids the trickle down effect is crazy!
But of course I hope she has a healthy pregnancy, it would be a shame for something to happen to her especially since she has 19.5 kids that need her.

At this point, Michelle barely has to do anything. Her older kids take care of the younger ones.
I just can't imagine spending most of my life pregnant.

It's her body if she wants to be pregnant again than it's her choice. It's no ones business as to when she is going to stop or should stop.

I think this becomes a case of the older siblings taking care of the younger ones. I cant imagine that each child gets the attention they deserve from their parents b/c there are so many.
their life doesnt impact my life whatsoever, but considering her preemie baby and almost dying the last time around, that should be enough for you to stop.
its like my neighbors who have 4 under the age of 10, and they're thinking of going for 5..b/c they have the 10yr old basically being a mother to those kids. why not go for another when you have someone else helping.
