I'm sorry, but this is utterly ridiculous! She will have children younger than her GRANDCHILDREN!!!
The article on People says she's on the elliptical an hour each day and napping every single day. Wonder who's raising the other kids

I think Josie (#19) already younger than Macynzie (GC#1)?

I don't judge the Duggars because they take care of their family. Have as many kids as you want... as long as you are providing for them, it's your business.
However, I can't imagine having a scare like they did with their last child... born at 25 weeks because of preeclampsia, having serious medical complications to both the mother and child...and going on to take the risk of having more children.
They have 19 children. I just feel as though they are tempting fate and I sincerely hope she has a healthy pregnancy and stops after this one. There comes a point where you have to start thinking about your own health and making sure you stay around for the 19 children that you do have.

More power to them. From what I've seen very single one of those children show respect, love and consideration for everyone they come in contact with.
They seem to be doing something right.

My FIL has a 2 month old DD. His oldest grandchild is 17 years old!
So gross (my FIL, not the Duggars)!
Although I do have lots of sympathy for her uterus.

I think once you become a grandparent, you should stop having kids - especially if your child is at a mature age (not 13).
But, as far as I know, the other kids enjoy the large family and they take of their own finances.

I really thought that after what they went through with their last child that they would stop having more kids. Even though it's very unusual, I don't see a problem with the number of children they have since they seem to be able to provide for them and they all seem happy. But after seeing the risk she was in during her last birth and how their baby's health and life was in danger for the first several months of her life, I think they should stop. But since she's already pregnant, I hope she has a healthy and happy pregnancy!

I agree. I don't see whats the issue. Back in the days it was common to have lots of kids even if you were poor so I don't see why people think the Duggars are so wrong.
It's her body, her uterus, her business. I think they are blessed. The kids seem happy and the family is self sufficient. Honestly I like their values. None of the kids seem like brats and yes although pre-eclampsia and a preemie is scary it happens to women all the time...even those who don't have a crazy amount of kids. I think the fact that all her kids are healthy (even Josie now) is a blessing. Congrats to them.

Or overpopulation...
At the rate they are going, if the kids all have 20 children apiece, there will be 400 Duggars in the next generation... :P
I respect their love of children, but there's no way they can support that family if they didn't take advantage of multiple tax loopholes and declare their home as a church to avoid taxes...
And exploiting your children on TV is no way to raise a family... :P

Apparently she never had a planned c-section but this 18th delivery (she had 2 sets of twins) will be the first. I can't imagine any OB allowing that knowing this is her 4th c-section.

ITA with you. That is why she keeps having them. What stress does she have when he makes the money and the older kids raise the younger ones?
