Oh Dawn, just know that he won't hate you. He may be confused, but he will get over it. (Remember: I have had numerous surgeries since having DS and he doesn't grasp the 'mommy is hurt' thing. But he got over it.)

Ugh...I know. I just hate having to push him away. When he gets excited about one of his toys or something on tv he always comes running over to me and slaps my legs as i'm sitting on the couch. He gets so confused when I won't let him do it

Thanks for all of the suggestions guys. Unfortunately I don't have a bathtub...we have a walk in shower so soaks are out of the question.
I had my boyfriend pick up some Lanacane and Aloe. Oh yeah and aspirin. He came home with a low dose kind...why...I have no idea with the pain i'm in. I'll have to remember than next time he's in pain and needs relief...lol. The freekin bottle says to take 4-8 pills every 4 hours...no more than 48 in a 24 hour period. I didn't even know you could take that many of anything at a time. Weird.
Anyway...just took a shower and put it all on and I feel a little better.

i would get some aloe vera for sunburn at the store and they have a mist one that is very light it helps extremely well. ive gotten bad sunburn before and its a blessing. hope you feel better soon.

This is going to sound gross but trust me on this......put plain yogurt (not with vanilla or any flavoring) on the areas that are burned. The active ingredients in the yogurt take the sting right out of the burn. HTH feel better
