LOL! Mine is like that without the sugar It is the lab in her, but she is much better than when we got her. She is now 11 months and DH is at the dog run this morning to make sure she releases some of her energy. She did not let us sleep last night

Re: Things your dog had chewed up in your house
I have two dogs, but Tiberius is usually the chewer... he's eaten:
- tons of socks and underwear (the chihuahua Ginger plays tug of war with him for them)
- TWO Macbook power cords (I bought a replacement and he ate that one too)
- My debit card (immediately after purchasing fandango movie tickets, that was fun)
- An entire box of new checks I had ordered from the bank (the same week as the debit card, I think he wanted me to save money)
- His gentle leader collar (the part that's supposed to hang in front of his face)
- All of his toys (that's how he plays - tears them apart)
- Pens, bursing the ink and making messes
- Our bed - the wooden footboard! Actual pieces of wood
- The wall of my mother's house (bit into the sheetrock)
- My car insurance documents
- Half a 100-roll of stamps when we were putting together wedding invitations (they worked on that one together too)
- Ginger has eaten my shoes (heels usually)
- Any clothing with buttons that fall on the floor or I leave on the bed (including tags on new clothes)
- TWO bedspreads - he'll be good for months and then suddenly tear into the seams and I'll walk in to a pile of fluff on the bed
There's more but those are the things that stand out in my mind lol

Re: Things your dog had chewed up in your house
THE BEST PART:!?! I bring the card to the ticket box office and I'm like, "what can I do, my dog just ate my card and the movie is sold out" and the bottom 1/4 of the card was eaten and the edges were all jagged... cutting off the last 4 digits. So what does the lady do? She tries to swipe the card through the reader and gets all the jagged pieces stuck, I was dying. I finally figured out after that the last 4 digits are written on the back of the card. But you should have seen my face as she's jamming the card into the machine.

Re: Things your dog had chewed up in your house
Posted by Beachlover Mine has gone through the following: * The cord to an iron (I was watching her as I watched TV. One second, he was chewing a dog toy; the next second, it was the ironing cord)
* The four corners of our bed comforter (not all one one day). We were due to buy a new one anyway
*Every bed we had bought her... (5 of them--including a crate pillow)
*DH boots (but that was his fault because he left them out in the living room instead of putting them away)
*Socks (if we leave the closet door open, she will get into the socks basket and take one)
*DH work out pants (his fault again because he left them over the dinning room chair )
*A stuffed animal
*Corners of the only two area rugs we own. One I don't care about because DH mom bought it fo rus and it is UGLY!!!!
*Our bedroom curtain ---the expensive one from Pottery Barn (ask me how she managed to make a hole in the center and not rip the damn thing
*4 out of 6 toss pillows from Crate and Barrel that were on top of the sofa (again...only the corners)
*Every leash she has owned
*Her harness (3 of them)
* I pair of jeans (well only the top buckle---DH again )
*DH slippers (again his fault)
All of the above plus more...
Do you have a bulldog? She sounds exactly like my beast. ..

Re: Things your dog had chewed up in your house
Ohman this thread made me feel better, my crazy dog eats everything too. I now know i"m not alone:
- the wall in our last apartment - the corner of my footboard (it was practically brand new) - corner of the dresser (again practically brand new) - ate a hole in the top of my bf's hat (it was a Sabres hat I wasn't too upset lol) - computer charger wire - BB charger wire - PS3 charger wire - TONS of pillows, stuffed animals, dog beds - socks - ate through a garbage bag to get at the food i there - q-tips, tissues - business cards
And there are a lot more things that I can't remember right now.

Tell me about it! That is the reason I started it...I wanted to make sure my dog was not the only one who was such a handful
I have met so many people who seem to have the "perfect" furbaby that I was starting to question mine Now I don't feel so bad

Re: Things your dog had chewed up in your house
Things the two of them have eaten over the years:
5lbs of Halloween Candy (all consumed by ONE dog, wrappers and all)
Inground sprinkler heads
Wallpaper they ripped off the wall
Several Christmas ornaments
An entire village of Dept. 56 figurines
Actually, the Dept 56 figurines is still ongoing. I actually caught Abigail in the act of moving a figurine to the rug so she could chew it last week. She's done this every year, no matter what we put in front of the tree to ward her off.

I can't wait until that day!!! She is not chewing as much as she used to, but at 11 months she still likes to chew on socks, and pillows although we got her a plush toy for Christmas and she has been carrying it around and laying on it like is her best friend. Not chewing on it at all....

Re: Things your dog had chewed up in your house
our dog (when we were in middle school) would CHEW ON RAZORS!!
Yes she would find the disposable razors and CHEW on them. She would cut her tongue and all it would bleed and she would lick herself- she would be red... she was a stupid dog!

Re: Things your dog had chewed up in your house
My dog doesn't really chew anything...its my CAT I have to watch out for!!!
She attacks my right slipper (just the right one), and has ripped most of the 'fur' off it.
Any computer wire...my laptop cord and my iPhone cord are a mess!!
The glass top of my coffee table
And lately she's been biting the lowest branch of the Christmas tree.
My dog only really chews napkins, paper towels, scraps of wrapping paper...nothing too destructive...maybe he wants more fiber in his diet
