I am so sorry that happened to you. Having spoken to you plenty of times, I know that you are a sweet and genuine person and he was clearly just a dik. I am sorry that happened to you. That happened to me once in a pizza place, I had ordered for my sister and I and some guy had the nerve to say I was ordering too much and to lay off the pizza with my weight problems. I was so upset so I know how it feels. I said something back to him too and he just walked away.

it's happened to me where complete strangers make comments on what food i put in my shopping cart to what food i buy, it's the judgement that kills you. You feel so judged when you eat in public that you don't eat out. you just take out and eat in your car or at home because of fear. I laugh when people post about how people should just stop eating or maybe work out a little. They don't take into account what is going on in your life. Never do they think the hell you might be in or even the fact of how horrible the words (even though they may mean the best) hurt you.

I think this is a very good point.
No one is perfect. However, when one of your imperfections is your weight, it's out there for the world to see.
People who criticize those based on exterior factors seem to forget that they have their own faults. These faults are just hidden. If they wore them on their bodies, they would be judged as well.

Exactly. Also, sometimes diet and exercise don't work for everyone- or don't work quickly and easily.
My DH eats less than I do, watches everything he puts in his mouth, and works out all the time- yet he still struggles with his weight.
He has metabolism issues that are genetic and they are not easy to overcome.
You don't know when looking at a stranger- just what is going on- so how dare anyone make comments like that!
