Ok it came today and it worked great. I can't believe what came up on the pad Chat Icon It does leave the floor pretty wet after you use it but it was naptime so it had time to dry Chat Icon So far so good!

It depends on the flooring... My kitchen dries fast while the floor in my laundry takes a while to dry. Both are vinyl floors but not the same style...

I got the Shark yesterday and use it today.(hardwood floors). The floor dried pretty quickly, which I thought it was great. The pad didn't came out really dirty but perhaps it was because the house was cleaned on Saturday PM. Now I'm wondering if I should have gotten the Bissell instead. They are almost the same price. Is there really a difference besides the swivel feature that someone mentioned.
Thanks!

I liked them both but I prefer the Bissell over the Shark. The Shark did a good job but I got more dirt out of my floors with the Bissell and it also removed 2 tough stains the Shark didn't remove.

Re: Update: Steam Mop. Shark VS Bissell

So here is my question, I could not for the life of me find it anywhere on LI. My mom found it for me though in Maine & is having my brother bring it down tonight. She got it in Home Depot & it was the Bissell Steam Mop, Green one but she said the model said 18674??? Chat Icon I looked all over the place & can't even see that Bissell ever had a model number...

I guess I will find out tomorrow.

You can return any product you buy from HSN as long as you send it back within 30 days. They even send you the label to return it. You just have to call them to let them you are returning the product.

Re: Update: Steam Mop. Shark VS Bissell

Well I got the one that my mom sent down from the Home Depot in Maine. It does say Model 1867-4 but I have no idea what the difference is. I searched high & low for that model number online & NOTHING comes up! It looks identical to the 1867-7 model.

I used it for the first time last night in my kitchen & could see a difference. I could feel the difference when walking on it but it did take a long time to dry! Question, when you use it, do you always keep the trigger down for the steam???

I also searched coupon codes for HSN & saw a new customer discount - 15 or 20%, I put the order in DH's name so we rec'd an add'l discount on top of the event price of $69.95.

So it's really the 4 model...

Yes hold down the trigger for the steam. Does your floors have a shine or matt finish... My floors with the shine dry faster then the one with the matt finish...

I guess so but it looks identical to the -7 model & has the same parts Chat Icon So strange!

My kitchen is a matte floor, I guess that is why it is taking longer. Then again, whenever I wash it, it take some time....

I thought the matte finish was the issue... I just steamed my kitchen and less then 5 mins the floors are dry... That's not the same for the laundry room... It's still wet..

Re: Update: Steam Mop. Shark VS Bissell

I ordered mine from HSN on Tuesday. I can't wait for it to get here. DH thought I was crazy because I got SO SO SO excited that it was in stock on Tuesday night. I kept checking for the past few weeks and it was finally in stock. I jumped out of bed at 10:45pm and ran for my wallet to order it.

SO EXCITED!
