Hardwood floors should be cleaned with as little liquid or heat as possible because it will wear away the finish and warp the wood. Also no oil based products should be used... yes, this even includes Murphy's Oil soap, as it will strip the poly over time and you will have to refinish your floors more frequently.
Many a floor guy told me, vacuum thoroughly then spray a mixture of one part vinegar to three parts water onto the head of a microfiber mop head just until damp... just use a cheap spray bottle from the dollar store and again don't submerge the mop in a bucket, just dampen the mop. Then wipe the floors. There should be no standing liquid on the floor.

Okay, I just got mine and used it last night. It works
AMAZING. It makes cleaning the floors so easy.
Cleaning under the high chairs was always such a huge chore for me. I used to have spray fantastic or oxyclean let it soak... then scrub forever. Now I just gently use this mop and it was like MAGIC picked up every stain. & the best part
no chemical cleaner or worrying about bleaching my
clothes by accident. Definitely worth it. Just for my kitchen floor alone.
