Update w/ Question : Multiple Miscarriages
I really need your feedback... I'm having my second consecutive miscarriage and at this point I really need to know that there are women out there who carried to full term after having 2 or more miscarriages. I'm terrified of never being able to have the family I've always wanted.
TIA
Update: I'm curious if there are any women out there that had success after multiple losses going the natural route? IE - dietary changes, acupuncture, massage therapy, herbs, etc.
thanks!

Re: Multiple Miscarriages
Plenty of women have gone on to carry successfully after 1.. 2... 3.. + losses. The key is to find out what's going on and figure out the protocol that will help you.
I had several losses. My first was at 17wks, then I had an early chemical, then had triplets and lost all of them at 8wks, then had another loss somewhere in the 7th week, and even with this pregnancy which started out as twins, we lost one of them early on after seeing the heartbeat. I am currently full term (38wk2d) with my and ready to deliver any day now. Actually, today is 3 years (to the DAY) of my first loss.
Losses are terrible but they ARE fixable. I went through years of infertility and a surrogate to get where we are today but none of that matters now because the end result is SO worth the ride.

Re: Multiple Miscarriages
I unfortunately know very well what you are going through. I also had 2 consecutive miscarriages. I was terrified and convinced that this was my life. That every time I'd get pregnant I'd lose it. However, my 3rd pregnancy was normal. I was given progesterone since my hormone levels were low in the beginning and I took extra folic acid and a baby aspirin on top of my prenatal vitamins. I now have a very healthy baby boy. Don't give up hope

Multiple Miscarriages
I had 5 consecutive losses... my DD will be 6 mos on Friday. We ultimately went with IVF because we thought there may be an egg quality issue... but there was nothing wrong with them as far as we could tell.

Re: Update w/ Question : Multiple Miscarriages
I had two chemicals back to back. After seeing an RE and doing some testing I ended up getting pregnant on my own and stayed pregnant this time with the help of progesterone suppositories. I'm currently 31 weeks. Don't lose hope!

That's basically what's happened to me so far (both losses were at about 5 weeks along). I'm really hoping that's the issue - from what I've learned in the last day about my family I have a number of women in my family that have had hormonal issues and needed help with those babies sticking (my aunt had FIVE miscarriages!).

Re: Update w/ Question : Multiple Miscarriages
I had two losses and a chemical. In between my losses, I changed up my diet a bit -- no caffeine, no alcohol, natural cleaning products, and started with acupuncture. I'm not sure if any of it actually worked because I was doing that in between losses. However, I did take progesterone suppositories with my recent pregnancy and I now have a spunky 4 month old :)
It's beyond FRUSTRATING but don't lose hope!!!

Re: Update w/ Question : Multiple Miscarriages
I had 2 consecutive missed m/c. Saw an RE and had my DD. Not totally convinced I ever really needed an RE, DH and I tried naturally for #2. DS was born in March, no assistance and an easy pregnancy.
Hang in there! If you had told me in 2009 that by 2013 I'd have a daughter and a son, I never would have believed it.
