Re: Vaccination question...
My Dr did 3 shots (I think 1 was a combo) and 1 oral (rotovirus) vaccination when DS was 10 weeks. DS had no reaction, he cried for about 1 minute and then life was good again!

Re: Vaccination question...
My girls both got 4 shots on their 1st visit and my youngest got the oral rotavirus.
Some docs have the pediatrix shot that's a combo shot-4 shots in 1 they can give.
I dont' think it's too much, i'd rather them get all at once than prolong the pain in the legs and visits to the doc. Both my girls only were a bit more sleepy for a day or two, other than that they were fine.
It's a personal decision that only you and DH along with your doc can make for your child. Don't listen to anyone else's opinion-do your research and speak to your PED.

Re: Vaccination question...
DD got 4 at her first shots and was completely fine. As a matter of fact that was the first night she slept through the night.

Re: Vaccination question...
my son gets a 5 in one, a 3 in one, and then he got one other. SO a total of 3 shots, but many vaccinations.

so far DS has had: 2 months - Pediarix & Rotateq (Rotateq is not an injection, so only one shot)
3 months - Prevnar #1 and HIB#1 4 months - Pediarix #2 and Rotateq#2 5 months - HIB #2 and Prevnar #2
I think they will continue this type of alternation, I go again at 6 months, then again at 8 months. I go more often, but it breaks up the # of shots.
