Keri your Mom should just tell your brother and his g/f that unless she re-schedules the sonogram she won't be able to make it.
What is the big deal about her re-scheduling the sonogram? That way your Mom can go to both things and everyone will be happy.
Problem solved.

This was my thought exactly. Sorry you're dealing with this Kerri. And I agree with the PP, I think I would be more upset with my mother trying to accomodate her when it's an impossibility. Your mom needs to apologize and tell her if she wants her there she's going to have to change the sono.

Wow Kerri Im sorry you are going through this. That is not right at all on her part and your mom just needs to tell her she will be with you that day. I seem to think your mom is afraid to hurt anyone's feelings and trying to do the both but, doesnt really realize she is hurting someone's feelings, YOU her own daughters. I think you should say something to your mom and tell your bother's GF that she needs to be understanding that you are having your baby that day and she is your mom and should be with you. She needs to deal and grow up, she is having a baby, deal!!!
