Wow! Just WOW!
I'm usually timid, but I would have told her to F*** off.

I actually know someone who got a ticket in NYC for sitting on the stairs to the subway. The stairs are for moving up and down, not for huddling when it's cold. You were 100% right.

First off, and hope you are feeling better soon.
Second, you are a better woman that I am because I would have called her every name in the book and punched her in the babymaker.

Is it wrong that I hope she falls down & bruises her tailbone?
I was thinking the same thing!
I hope you feel better soon! I've bruised my tailbone when I fell rollerblading. Not fun!

I remember that being all over the news and people thought the ticket was ridiculous.
I WISH this woman would have gotten a ticket. How unbelievably rude and obnoxious!!

Wow, what a b*tch! Clearly someone who is either completely narcissistic or who has a very skewed view of the world. It was probably a good idea not to get into it with her, because she never would have seen things clearly, and the situation would probably just have escalated.
You were absolutely in your right to ask her to move. I hope karma bites her in the azz (literally).

Yes. She was there first and clearly had her name written on that part of the banister which means it belongs to her. You're in the wrong.

On the bright side, your injury will heal . . . she'll remain a rude, insensitive PITA.
Feel better!

What a rude woman! The whole point of the rails are so people can use them to get up the stairs-she was completely out of line. You were well within your right to use the railing injury or not. Tough for her that she has to move.

I would have squeezed my way around her, but would have kept bumping and pushing her in the process
while singing "The Bird is the Word"
