The 1st time he was allowed to stay in the room
The 2nd time he had to leave

I just asked my DH b/c I was drugged up on demerol that I had no idea and he said they did make him leave.

I just asked DH and he said he was given the choice to stay, but didn't want to watch, so he left the room

I had a scheduled c-section & DH was not allowed in the room until AFTER I was given my spinal.

My DH was getting lunch when they started my epi - well in comes my DH right in the middle and he had to start all over. I was pizzed
The labor nurse was with me the whole time holding me still because I was uncomfy for the contractions coming so fast and furious

He was there for the first - actually that had HIM hold me while it was going in I was surprised at that.
But with baby #2, he wasn't allowed in the room. I was having a planned c/s so maybe that was the difference this time.
