Thanks for the response! I know what the charts say but I just feel very jiggly right now. Like I wouldn't wear a bathing suit. I think that a little weight looks like a lot on me or something becuase I definitely don't feel right...I hate recent pictures of myself.

I plugged in my height and that's the weight they gave me. My happiest was at 117 but that was my early 20's and I was working out like a lunatic AND taking xenedrine with Ephedra in it. Terrible I know, but the results were so awesome.

Now I am just looking for a lifestyle that I can live with and maintain on my own you know? I realized that all these years of working out and trying to eat right I haven't really learned anything...

I am terrified of slowing down my metabolism though. They ask about your working and I just sit in a chair all day, they didn't ask about working out which I do 4-6 times a week. Is there a place to enter that?

If work out that frequently, you won't slow your metabolism. Much of metabolism is inherited as well so if you've always had a faster one you're most likely stuck with it, poor thing!! LOL! JK.Chat Icon

I know the feeling of feeling jiggly and just heavier than usual, even at my thinnest.

WW really is a great program to help you follow a lifestyle, that is why they don't refer to it as a "diet". Anyone can do it really.

You can enter working out on the etools website if you are registered for that..there is an activity point section. For example, 1/2 hour of intense exercise earns you 3 or 4 extra points.

Good luck!

Re: Weight Watchers Thread

ugh....I had a terrible week and gained .5 lbsChat Icon

I'm kind of annoyed though, yes I made some bad choices but i only went over my weekly flex points by half a point, and that wasn't until last night. Can anyone come up with a possible reason?

Back on track though.....any advice on how to stay motivated?

You're at week 3? 4? Your weight loss will slow to about a 1lb loss a week. If you followed the points, it could be that you're retaining water, the bad choices as you said, or the time of day you were eating.

Just keep moving forward. Don't beat yourself up about it but don't let it happen next week. Work your little tush off now.Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Weight Watchers Thread

I wasn't going to post this, because I am embarassed, but I really want this to work so here goes...

I weighed in today and I gained 2 pounds. Chat Icon

I knew it was going to happen. I am 1 day away from AF and we had our neice this weekend and ate the worst stuff. I even had a hot fudge sundae and I don't think I've had one of those since I was 10 years old. Chat Icon

So now I am back on track, I bought a bunch of healthy food yesterday and prepared healthy snacks, vegetables, etc.

Re: Weight Watchers Thread

Thanks BarbChat Icon That was the weigh-in at the end of week 3 (I'm on 4 now). Now that you said it....I definitely didn't drink all my water the past few days. That could be part of it. But I KNOW that most of it was bad choices. I am determined to get this fat off my butt. I refuse to stay looking like this.

Thanks for your constant support and encouragement!!!Chat Icon

Re: Weight Watchers Thread

hey y'all!

I have a few questions about WW.

First how much is it? I tried looking on their website & the pricing was not listed.. or maybe I didn't look hard enough?

since my wedding, I've gained about 10lbs.. I am not fat by no means.. but I wouldnt mind losing the 10lbs that I gained. Also, this program may help me at more.. I probably eat 1 solid meal per day.. I know I know... that's bad!

and finally.. does this really work? I've read some of the old posts and this program seems to work. so I wanna have a whack at this.. but I really can't afford to spend too much money right now.

TIA
christina

Re: Weight Watchers Thread

I just broke down and bought a chocolate cookie. AF is coming any second or maybe I am PG which would be AWESOME!! So either way, I had no chance against this cookie.

This only leaves me with 7 points for the rest of the day. Can I "earn" more by going to the gym and redeem the points? I am doing this online so will the points tracker credit me with those points?

I am trying to save up all my bonus points for this weekend because we are going away.

TIA!

I had my first weigh in on Thursday and lost 3.2

It's a good start! I'd ultimately like to lose 20 pounds....but will take 15, that is my first goal!

Re: Weight Watchers Thread

So, I took the plunge today and joined. When she told me that number, I felt HORRIBLE! So, I'll join in here too:

how much do I weigh: I would rather not say, but maybe at some point I will.

short term goal: 25

Long term goal: 75

Re: Weight Watchers Thread

ok so I had an awful week AGAIN!! I had my book club at a VERY delicious family style Italian restaurant with 3 glasses of wine and dessert and then ate nothing but salt all weekend (AF showed up Friday)

all this and believe it or not.....

I lost 1 lbChat IconChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I can't believe it!!!

that's 6.5 lbs in 4 weeks (this could've been sooo much better, but I'll take anything right now)
