we're reverting to bad sleep habits

I don't know what happened. As many of you know, DS was a miserable sleeper his first 4 months, but the last 4.5 months have been great. He takes regular naps and sleeps from roughly 7pm to 7-9am. The past almost week he's been fighting his naps and bedtime- even when anyone can see he's tired. He's also started waking up earlier. Over the weekend it was 7am (he usually sleeps later on the weekends) then it was 6:30 yesterday and 5:45 today. I don't know what the heck is going on. Anyone else have this problem?

We used to have those kinds of things happen, but luckily it usually was just a phase. Things went back to normal after about a week of early wakings.

How old is he? Could he be teething?

Its a phase they all go through. Molly was up at 5:45 today also. Just keep his routine the same and he will go back to sleeping better soon.

He's about to be 9 months. I suppose it could be teething, but he already has two on the bottom and four on the top and they never seemed to effect his sleeping before.

Re: we're reverting to bad sleep habits

I am having the SAME problems. DD is 8 1/2 months. She used to go down, awake at 7pm...now it's a fight, crying and a struggle until about 9. She seems to be wired and ready to play at night now. And she keeps waking up during the night. I've been looking for solutions myself.Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
