Went food shopping (needed to anyway)
Car is gassed up (needed to anyway)
Wine frig is stocked
We'll bring the BBQ and outdoor chairs into the garage.
Buying some extra ice and water

Nothing

I went grocery shopping a few days ago before Irene was this big of a storm

I already have falshlighs and batteries, i have 2 1/2 cases of water and food.


Dh will bring in the lawn furniture and some of DD toys.

*took cash out of bank
*gassed up cars
*bought car charger for my cell phone (DH already has one for his)
*bought bottled water
*bought nonperishable food for me and DH
*bought shelf stable milk & juice and jarred baby food for DS
*bought batteries for existing flashlight
*dug out battery radio and crank radio/flashlight
*bought an extra flashlight
*put lawn furniture in garage
*tonight will be putting potted plants and gas grill in garage
*will charge both cell phones and portable dvd player tonight
*making a list of things to pack if we lose power for more than a couple days and need to move in with mom for awhile!
*made calls to help cancel my SIL-to-be's shower this weekend
*changed plans to do something outdoors this afternoon while the sun is still shining

I got gas for the car
got propane for BBQ
got cat food, cat treats, & a few bottles of water for him
got some cash from ATM
got d-batteries for my lantern
did laundry

I had candles, flashlights & matches already

I didn't get any additional food or water for me, i'll eat out Not panicking, but not being completely unprepared either

*Moving all breakables away from the windows

*Putting all important documents in a Ziploc in a Rubbermaid tote, along with my crystal, china, etc.

*Stocked on nonperishables and water

*Bought tarps

*Candles, extra batteries, matches, etc

DH put away the patio furniture chairs today (our chairs weigh about 1 oz each- cheaply made shyt - so they woulld end up in the next county I am sure!)

The table is tile top so he took out the tiles but no room for the frame in the house or shed etc- so he bungeed corded that to the deck- hope that is ok

He put the BBQ grill away.

My car gas tank is full anyway

I have a pantry that is always fully stocked anyway- DH likes to stock up on shyt that we don't need!

My liquor cabinet is ALWAYS stocked- I mean COME ON NOW!!

I'll just take down the hanging basket flowers tomorrow and bring them in.

That's about it...i think.

I am filling up containers with water to make as many ice blocks as I can fit.
