What do u and your DH call ur inlaws
My DH and I call our in laws Mom and Dad. he started it first. I cringe everytime I say it to them. it feels so unnatural!!

I do too, I feel so weird and uncomfortable calling my MIL Mom! But I do. Dh calls my mom Mamma B and he just never refers to my dad as anything. My dad does the same thing to my grandfather (mom's dad)

i already call my fil's mom and dad...fh however doesn't call them anything. i think once we are married he'll call them by their first names

I call my FIL dad, DH calls my mom, mom and he doesn't call my dad anything, but if he did, he'd probably call him dad too.

We each call each other's parents by their first names. But he calls my Grandma "Grandma" which I think is the cutest thing

We can each others families the same the other would call them - so Mom and Dad, Aunt XXX, Uncle XXX, etc.

I'd prefer to use first names...DH calls my mom by her first name (and she has asked him to), but my MIL and FIL want me to use Mom and Dad...It feels weird, so I never really call them anything. I call his nana "nana" because she always signed everything nana, even when we were first dating.

You know, I don't think I've ever used anything! Even when talking to one about the other, I say "DH's mom" or "DH's dad" I don't feel so weird writing cards to mom and dad since they are from both of us.

LOL.. I call my FIL by his first name 99% off the time.. My DH calls my parents NOTHING.. Occasionally he refers to them as Mom and dad.. but he just starts talking to them, or when he answers teh phone hes like.. "hey how are you" It cracks me up!

I call DH's mom & stepfather by their first names. MIL introduced herself that way - and they all call their stepdad by his first name.
DH calls both my parents by their names- which took me awhile to get used.
In general, all of the son in laws use "HE" or "HIM" when referring to him to others. This issues gets resolved when you have kids & can use "Grandma" and "Grandpa" when they are present.

I don't call them anything. It's still too weird. He calls my parents mom and dad though. He will call my aunts and grandmother that also. I'll just wait until they look at me if I need to say anything.

My IL's insisted I call them mom and dad, and it was so hard for me to. I had to bite my tongue and half they time I tried not to call them anything.
It got much easier when the baby came along, because I felt better calling them grandma and grandpa instead!
My DH is old fashioned and still calls my parents Mr and Mrs.
